Synectics to Highlight Flexible Technologies at Coach & Bus UK 2019

Synectics will be attending Coach & Bus UK (Birmingham NEC, October 2-3) to demonstrate the value of intuitive, flexible, and cost-effective security and surveillance solutions.

Specifically tailored for the bus and coach market, the Synectics Cloud Evidence Locker has been designed to help operators speed up the retrieval, management, and secure sharing of incident video, reducing the time it takes to investigate incidents and resolve claims, saving them precious time and money.

Internet-enabled and securely accessible on a connected device by both operators and third parties such as the emergency services, insurers, and other authorised partners, the cloud-based solution enables the rapid uploading and sharing of incident footage, witness statements, and related evidential content.

Synectics (stand H22) will also be showcasing smart surveillance technology which empowers operators to use the latest advancements in both video monitoring and cloud-based technologies to tailor a solution which meets their specific needs.

One example is the MirrorEyeTM system, developed by Orlaco, which replaces traditional vehicle mirrors with robust and aerodynamic cameras linked to an in-cab display.

As well as increasing the field of view, reducing glare, and eliminating blind spots, MirrorEye automatically adjusts in response to varying light levels, weather conditions, and other external factors. The infrared capability also vastly improves image capture and driver visibility in dark conditions.
