Since ATM has been widely used, many businesses that have to be transacted in the bank outlets now can all be done on ATMs of Self Service Banking. Depositors can use their bank cards to deposit, withdraw, transfer accounts and pay fees on ATMs. ATMs make our life much more convenient. However, ATM crimes also increase rapidly at the same time.

1. Safety requirements. Most ATMs are outside the door and unattended. Various kinds of destructions on ATMs happen frequently such as malicious destruction, knocking, scribing and even digging the whole machine. By monitoring ATMs, safe operation of the system can be guaranteed.

2. Avoid disputes. As ATMs are unattended, banks can’t ensure whether the banknote output feed output money or not； whether the cardholder withdraw or not； whether banknote output feed is modified by people on purpose. Therefore, it is required that the surveillance system should have powerful video searching and playback functions to provide ex-post analytic reference for incidents. Banks usually require that the video data of ATM surveillance system be stored for 1-3 months and even half a year.

3. The surveillance system is required to support alarm linkage. When the video losses or is partially shielded, the system can immediately and accurately make responses, reduce the false alarm rate and guarantee precision. Alarm can trigger local warning signal output and the dialer. It can also be transmitted to the surveillance center via network and thus the surveillance center will take corresponding measures.

4. Surveillance system is required to have network function (extensible). That is, any network master terminal can achieve network remote surveillance to ATMs by visiting ATM digital surveillance host. This is also the development trends of ATM surveillance.

5. Due to the fact that ATMs are unattended, the installation of ATM surveillance cameras should be of high concealment.

1. Local surveillance function
On the basis that the definition of audio and video image collection is guaranteed, this system mainly highlights the following functions:

* Video storage
Yuantuo Tech uses the current international leading H.264 high compression technology. Video images collected by any camera can achieve real-time recording.
It has several recording modes. The system can set such modes as timing and continuous recording, video motion recording, alarm linkage recording and manual recording according to the schedule to achieve intelligent management.
It supports multi-hard disk looping recording with no need of manual changing disks.

* Searching and playback
It can do the quick and precise search according to the recording time, channel and method to call and play the needed video recordings in time. It supports audio and video synchronous playback which can synchronously play the on-site video and audio. It also supports simultaneous playback of multi-image and multi-channel which can make it easy to find out the occurrence time, place and other relevant information and thus clues can be searched easily.

* Alarm function
It has video loss alarm and motion alarm recording functions which can achieve the linkage with corresponding alarm devices.

* E-map
The host has the E-map function. The user can draw an E-map and set an alarm place according to the actual situation. After the alarm is raised, the E-map will auto pop-up to indicate the alarm position.


2. Network remote surveillance function
It achieves all the surveillance functions of local terminal. In addition, the system has powerful network remote surveillance function. Any authorized network master terminal can achieve remote surveillance and control by visiting the digital surveillance host of local terminal.
