Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Finance jointly issued "Robot Industry Development Plan (2016-2020)" (hereinafter referred to as "Plan"), which will guide Chinese robot industry to develop rapidly, healthily and continuously, the robot once again become the focus of public concern. In April 6th, led by the Shenzhen UAVs Industry Association, jointly sponsored by Qihan Technology Co., Ltd., the China Artificial Intelligence Robot Industry Alliance was finally established in Shenzhen after over one year preparation. Professors from Beihang University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Zhongshan University, and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and representatives from Qihan Technology Co., Ltd. and other thirty enterprises related artificial intelligence robot all represented in the meeting.

In 2013, the sales of industrial robots in global is 179 thousand units, while in 2014, the sales increased to 225 thousand units, which realized an increase for around 26%. Robotics products have already came into the public life from the professional applications area. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, people will have more and more demand on healthy life. With the emergence of an aging trend, the application of robots will be more extensive. For example, the emotion care, care for the elderly, education and training, and even become the new entrance to the media and so on.

In 2013, QIHAN, working with KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology), HIT (Harbin Institute of Technology) and CUG (China University of Geosciences) etc high-tech research institutions, set up the Postdoctoral Innovation Experimental Base and the Base of Industry, College and Institute to major in the research and development on consumer level robots.
