Recently, Qihan releases Ruby series IP cameras and H.265 NVR.

The first batch of “Ruby” series covered multiple product types such as bullet, dome etc. And we’ll release more abundant models and housings, clients can choose from them due to different operating conditions. The “Ruby” can be widely used in hotels, government, finance, supermarkets, telecommunications, schools, factories, public security, judicial, airports, safe city and other places that require HD images. They can ensure higher definition images in the security requirement places.

Both the first two Ruby cameras QH-NW556RS-P & QH-NW570RS-P adopts 2.5mm fixed lens and have 140 degree larger view angel, and both with frame rate of 30fps @ 3MP/2MP/1MP. The main features of these two Ruby series IP cameras are as below:

Qihan’s first batch H.265 NVRs include one 16 CH N6416F-H and one 32 CH N6432F-H. H.265, also named HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), is one new generation video compression standard accepted by ISO and ITU-T in Mar, 2013, which is mainly used on high definition television video codec system. Within less than 3 years, Qihan R&D team applied it to NVRs.

Compared its previous generation H.264, the frameworks of H.265 are nearly same with H.264, main including intra-frame prediction, inter-frame prediction, conversion, quantization, deblocking filter and entropy coding etc modules. But the whole H.265 is separated into encoder unit, prediction unit and conversion unit three parts. And more, H.265 supports 4K(4096x2160) and 8K(8192x4320) high definition video. According to the public data, the coding efficiency is twice as high as that of H.264.
