1. General description
Digital surveillance alarm system is a highly integrated product with the latest technologies such as multi-media, image processing, computer and alarm technologies. It uses the latest image digital processing technology to transform analog voice and video signals into digital signals and display moving images on the computer screen in real time as well as use data flow to simultaneously store the video and audio signals in the hard disk. 2. Objective
Help relevant staff keep track of the on-site situation accurately；
Prevent financial crimes and guarantee cardholders normal and safe transactions on the ATM；
Protect bank’s benefits and prevent any damages on ATMs；
Provide accurate reference for ex-post analysis and evidence collecting；
Record image data of people using ATMs in real time and prevent card-theft；
Protect the safety of credit card account and provide evidence to help solve disputes between banks and cardholders.
3. System design
This system have several parts including alarm and video surveillance.
Install ATM professional embedded digital surveillance host HRC-168 (it has digital compression and storage, network, remote search control, state monitoring, card number overlay, evidence collection, vibration alarm and human proximity alarm functions) of Yuantuo which matches with the major ATMs at home and abroad. This host has small footage and 10 inches HD digital LCD display with good radiation and stable operation. Install 4 or 5 video cameras on the ATM. Two of them are used to monitor and record the operation area and banknote output area when customers’doing transactions. One of them is responsible to record and monitor the adding notes area； one or two of them monitor the surroungding environments which achieve no blind corner effect. Facial features can be clearly identified in the playback, but the transaction passwords can not be seen (transaction password area is shielded). It can also record complete image data from 10 seconds before the transaction till the end of the transaction. Besides, human body detector and vibration detector are installd inside the ATM. Video recording of operation area and banknote noutput area use triggerring way to record image data, that is, when someone approaches the ATM (within 0.5M) or banknote output area and has some actions, the corresponding video camera will start recording. When the safe door opens, video camera in adding notes area starts recording.
This system can receive messages send by the ATM. To effective ATM transactions, the system will auto overlay the information such as machine No, card number, transaction time and type to the video images.
4. System function
4.1 Local surveillance function
On the basis that the definition of audio and video image acquisition is guaranteed, this system mainly highlights the following functions:
Video storage
1) Use the current international leading H.264 high compression technology, which can achieve real-time recording of video images collected by any video camera；
2) Have several recording modes. The system can set up several modes such as continuous recording, video motion recording, alarm linkage recording and manual recording according to the schedule and achienve intelligent management；
3) Support muiti-hard disk loop recording without manual changing disks.
Search and playback
1) It can do quick and precise search according to recording time, card number, recording channel and recording method and quickly call and play the needed video data. It supports audio and video simultaneous playback and can simultaneously play the on-site video and audio. It supports multi-image and multi-channel simultaneous playback which make it convenient to check the occurren time and relevant situations and thus it is helpful to find clues.
Alarm function
1) It has video loss alarm and motion alarm recording functions which can achieve the linkage with alarm devices.
E-map
1) The host has E-map function. Users can draw an E-map and set up alarm places according to the actual situations. After raising the alarm and indicating the alarm position, the E-map will auto pop-up .
4.2 Network remote surveillance alarm function
1) While achieving all local surveillance functions, the system also has powerful network remote surveillance function. Any authorized network control end can achieve remote monitoring and control via local digital surveillance host.
