Coding solution provider Phytrex Technology recently announced its latest HomeKit software development kit (SDK) with iCloud relay and multiple profiles in CES 2017.
The SDK integrates with Alexa-enabled accessories for Apple HomeKit users. This will help Apple device developers use Phytrex WACIO Wi-Fi module and SDK build different kinds of HomeKit products with customized profiles.
iCloud relay is a new technology giving users the additional option to control HomeKit accessories through iCloud, instead of through Apple TV or iPad as a gateway. After adding multiple profiles in Phytrex SDK, Apple device developers can shorten the learning curve and integrate more profiles in one product.
At CES, Phytrex showed different kinds of smart home products compatible not only with HomeKit, but also Amazon Alexa, Wechat, etc.
Phytrex believes in the beginning, assorted camps of Internet of Things (IoT) in the industry is the norm, but gradually, one product will accommodate more groups to become the so-called multi-system IoT. Phytrex said it is ready to build this access technology into its SDK.
The HomeKit-enabled WACIO SDK, along with its all-in-one, turnkey solution and reference implementations, comprise the complete Phytrex IoT portfolio. Through its Easy-Stack SDK flow and technical support, Phytrex said IoT hardware makers will be able to shorten the product development cycle by 3-6 months and expedite the product launch.
