Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software (VMS), again showcased the power of Community in the Middle East, with a record number of visitors, partners and customers attending the MPOP 2018 in Dubai last week. More than 250 attendees and 24 Solution Partners enjoyed this unique opportunity to network and dive into the latest, cutting-edge solutions for security and beyond security on the Milestone Platform.
In his Keynote Christian Ringler, Director Middle East, Africa and DACH, emphasized the investments being made by Milestone in the region. Celebrating 10 years presence in the Middle East, the Milestone Dubai office now has the largest team of sales, pre-sales and tech support for a VMS company in the region. A dedicated team of tech support staff in Dubai offers on-site support 24/7.
New team
Milestone Community Days also presented an opportunity for the community to meet with the newly appointed VP EMEA, Malou Toft. She was impressed with the quality of the event and the solutions presented at the partner showcase.
In her keynote, Malou Toft outlined the Milestone strategy beyond security and introduced the strong Middle East Management Team bringing together sales, community, and technology expertise with Jomy Abraham; Technical Manager, Haider Muhammad; Community Manager, and Amine Sadi - who will join the ME team in July as Country Manager.

The award recognized and rewarded our team efforts and dedication towards completion of the 'Zayed Sports City Stadium' project, one of the largest stadiums in the UAE with more than 43,000 seating capacity. Our design and implementation were tailored around the concepts of real-time information to better ensure the safety and security of the tenants, visitors, and players, limit access to restricted areas, identify internal and external threats, and ensure no disruption in daily operations. Our main challenge for this project was delivering it in a very tight timeline period, without compromising on quality, and to be ready to serve the FIFA Club World Cup."
