FingerTec Face ID 2 governs employee attendance in Saudi Arabia
In January 2017, Taysseer Alsharq Trading Services of Saudi Arabia has successfully deployed Face ID 2 terminals in the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs of Alsyah Provinces in Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry made a decision to switch from a hand-punch technology to face recognition to take advantage of the contactless nature of FingerTec's Face ID 2 for the a convenience of their employees. With Face ID 2, a staff only needs to look at the camera and be verified almost instantly. The capacity of 1200 face templates is more than enough to cater to the Ministry’s requirements, and this terminal presents various types of communication methods including TCP/IP and USB, plus it comes complementary with Ingress management software. The deployment of FingerTec provides the ministry with the data they require on time attendance and door access control to manage their day-to-day workforce’s operations.

The Ministry for Municipal and Rural Affairs was established in 1975, mainly responsible for the administration of the municipalities throughout the Kingdom. Its primary functions include city and town planning, and the development and maintenance of the basic infrastructure, such as roads, town cleaning and hygiene.
