Wellington School recently upgraded its doors from digital keypads to wirefree smart access control in order to improve security and better control the movement of staff and students around the campus.
Based in the market town of Wellington surrounded by beautiful Somerset countryside Wellington School is a co-educational, 2-18 day and boarding school, currently with 750 pupils including 160 Sixth Form students.
Requirement

To achieve this, the new solution installed by local
Salto Systems' dealer TLS Security is the XS4 platform. Fifty plus doors in school boarding houses, offices and external doors have been upgraded with Salto’s XS4 E9450 slim-line electronic escutcheons supported by XS4 2.0 wall readers and controllers.
With a large variety of models, XS4 electronic escutcheons are simple to install and easy to manage. They fit virtually any door, including wooden and PVC doors as well as those with narrow metal frames. All are totally wire-free and networked through Salto Virtual Network and Salto Wireless network for access control in real time.
