Multi-screen displays revolutionize medical learning at NIUM

Multi-screen displays revolutionize medical learning at NIUM
The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) is a leading institution for Unani (Perso-Arabic) medical studies and research.
The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) is a leading institution for Unani (Perso-Arabic) medical studies and research. It faced challenges in delivering complicated educational content to students via traditional whiteboards. The static boards were insufficient in presenting dynamic learning materials essential for a comprehensive medical education, such as medical illustrations and surgery recordings.

To address these needs, NIUM upgraded its facilities with 30 Hikvision 75-Inch 4K Interactive Display Panels. Equipped with Hikvision’s WonderCast application, the panels allow faculty to simultaneously share up to three distinctive content screens with students. The split-screen functionality enables teachers to present detailed medical diagrams and illustrations alongside clinical videos, while also make annotations in real-time. This helps students to visualize theoretical knowledge in a clinical context, bridging the gap between comprehension and practical application.

Following the implementation, NIUM has seen significant improvements in student engagement and insight. The panels surpassed previous learning limitations and created a visually stimulating educational environment. This advancement empowered the faculty to foster an academic atmosphere that facilitated the development of professional skills and competencies.
