Speco Technologies, a leading manufacturer of high definition video surveillance equipment and commercial/residential audio products recently introduced their new 4MP bullet and dome IP Cameras, offering their customers a better picture at the right price. These 4MP cameras offer double the resolution of full HD 1080p cameras.

Offered in a white dome housing (O4D2M) and a dark grey bullet housing (O4B2M), both cameras include a 2.7-12mm motorized lens, support up to 4MP resolution (2688x1520) at 30fps, and have built-in standard PoE. They also feature true wide dynamic range (WDR) operation, true day/night operation with an IR cut filter, smart IR function to provide a vivid image with no saturation in darkness, and offer an IR range of up to 160 feet, depending on scene reflection.

The O4D2M and the O4B2M support H.264 and MJPEC codecs, have an onboard micro SD card slot, support 2-way audio communication, are conformant with ONVIF Profile S, and are IP67 compliant, which means weather resistant when installed outdoors. These cameras work seamlessly with Speco Technologies’ HT hybrid recorders.
