February 23rd, 2012 Hikvision unveils newly developed embedded NVR products - DS-9600NI-ST series featuring innovative redundant system design, high quality megapixel recording, and mass storage based on new Netra? platform. The product is an ideal solution for large-scale applications where high definition IP monitoring is paramount.
Compared to Hikvision’s former series NVR, the DS-9600NI-ST series feature an innovative redundant system design - a primary system in operation and another providing a backup. If the main system crashes, the back-up system is activated immediately, allowing the DVR to record in a stable manner continuously. The switch-over to the secondary system goes smoothly.
Equipped with two self-adaptive 10M/100M/1000M network interfaces with functionalities such as load balance and network fault tolerance, the DS-9600NI-ST largely satisfy user’s need of acquiring complete video information with high quality and continuously stable video recording.
The DS-9600NI-ST series NVRs can access up to 32 network cameras, while it also supports video input with resolution of up to 5 megapixels. HDMI output is supported for high definition video display at 1080p. Additionally, the DS-9600NI-ST series NVRs feature 8 SATA hard disks with each up to 4TB storage capacity.
