Luminite launches new Alertex Wireless Annunciator with blue strobe
Luminite is delighted to announce the latest addition to its Alertex range – a powerful new wireless annunciator featuring a built-in blue strobe light.
Luminite is delighted to announce the latest addition to its Alertex range – a powerful new wireless annunciator featuring a built-in blue strobe light.

Designed to deliver clear, highly visible emergency alerts, the new NXVS-BB combines an attention-grabbing blue strobe with clear audible messaging, helping ensure lockdown and emergency instructions are quickly understood by everyone on site.

As with other devices in the Alertex range, the new annunciator offers exceptional installation flexibility and battery performance. It can be powered by 2 x lithium D cells, providing up to two years of battery life, or, using the new battery adaptor, by 6 x AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries. An IP Bridge is required for reliable battery life readings.

Users can choose from more than 20 pre-recorded messages, including Lockdown, Security Breach, First Aid and All Clear. For sites with specific requirements, bespoke messages or sounds can also be supplied to Luminite in WAV format for processing.

With MARTYN’S LAW compliance fast approaching, public venues with a capacity of 200 or more people will need to demonstrate clear and unambiguous procedures for lockdown, evacuation and invacuation in the event of a terrorist attack.

The combination of a highly visible blue strobe and a clear audible lockdown message provides a simple, immediate and easily recognisable alert for pupils, staff and visitors, helping to remove uncertainty when every second counts.

The NXVS-BB can be triggered in a number of ways. A hard-wired call point can be connected directly to the unit, while a wireless call point can be positioned up to 100 metres away. Units can also be activated via a fob or the IP Bridge, giving sites the flexibility to tailor their emergency alert system to their specific requirements.

Clear alert. Fast response. Greater confidence when it matters most.
