At ISC West 2025, Gallagher Security unveiled an innovative cloud-based solution designed to make their Command Centre security system accessible from anywhere in the world.

Logan Jamieson, Product Marketing Manager at Gallagher Security, introduced the new "One Link" feature that will enable controllers to be deployed in even the most remote locations.

Command Centre anywhere

"We're releasing a new feature that's making Command Centre's power available anywhere," explained Jamieson. "We're going to use the cloud to enable our controllers to be deployed anywhere in the world."

The solution utilizes 4G/5G wireless connectivity to connect controllers deployed at remote sites back to an organization's central Command Centre system.

"In the past, integrating a remote site into a central security system would typically require setting up a VPN (virtual private network), or extending the organization's corporate network out to wherever that location is," said Jamieson. "This added a lot of complexity and additional costs—we're providing a simple, cost-effective alternative that connects them via the cloud.”

Key Market Verticals

Jamieson identified several key verticals that would benefit from this new solution:

  • Governments and councils: "Take a council who manages infrastructure throughout a city, like public restrooms or telecommunication cabinets. Now, they can easily deploy controllers in those locations and connect them to their security operations center, where they can centrally manage and monitor their security.”

  • Critical infrastructure: "Remote facilities like water plants, waste management plants, power substations, and renewable energy farms are now all within reach and easily securable.”

  • Construction and mining: "Because our controllers are now untethered, you can even deploy them at a construction or mining site to really quickly set up access control."

  • Multi-site enterprises: “Large organizations with multiple physically separate offices, branches, or stores can also benefit from OneLink if they want to centralize the security management of all their locations to their headquarters.”

Beyond access control

The solution doesn't just provide remote access control capabilities but unlocks the full range of Command Centre's features at these remote locations.

"That's one of the main value points," Jamieson noted. "Not only is it enabling you to deploy our access control anywhere, but now you can leverage the additional capabilities that Command Centre has to offer."

As an example, Jamieson described how city councils could control flood lights in parks to reduce their energy bill: "By leveraging Command Center's power, they can turn various flood lights on or off from their central headquarters whenever they are not in use."

Global growth strategy

When asked about Gallagher's global expansion plans, Jamieson shared that while the company is well-established in Australia and New Zealand markets, "The US is definitely one of our focuses. That's where we are really trying to grow brand awareness for Gallagher." He added that Europe is "another big focus" for the company's growth strategy.
