Why is AI technology important in the security industry?

Why is AI technology important in the security industry?
The three main elements of security system are detection, delay, and response. AI technology is also widely used in Tiandy PTZ series, which gives Tiandy PTZ more powerful application and makes it suitable for different scenarios.
The three main elements of security systems are detection, delay, and response.

First of all, it should be capable of detecting unauthorized access as early as possible, and AI technology can improve the accuracy and speed of detection. Secondly, unauthorized attempts to access the system should be warded off or delayed as much as possible to empower effective security responses. Sound and light alarm warnings can further help prevent the occurrence of adverse events. Thirdly, systems that can assess potential risks in advance will allow timely response. Improvements in detection accuracy based on AI technology can reduce the impact of high-risk events or prevent them from happening entirely.

Leveraging advanced image processing technologies such as WDR, 4K, starlight, super starlight, color maker, etc., Tiandy offer users more image details. However, how can they deal with the massive image data and make full use of them?  Tiandy tried to answer this dilemma with its Turbo AI series cameras.

AI technologies are widely used in Tiandy IPC & PTZ

AI technologies are widely used in Tiandy Pro series IPC, which not only tremendously enhances the product's detection ability but also allows acceleration of information processing. All of the Pro series IPC are equipped with AI chipsets and AI technologies. Tiandy Pro series cameras support multiple VCA functions and can identify human/vehicle based on AI deep learning algorithms.

AI technology is also widely used in Tiandy PTZ series, which powers the cameras with more powerful applications and makes it suitable for different scenarios. Most of the PTZ cameras are equipped with AI chipsets and AI technologies. Based on deep learning technology, most of the Lite series PTZ support face capture, while the Pro series PTZ supports face capture, person and vehicle classification, auto-tracking and helmet detection. The Ultra series not only supports the above-mentioned functions, but also supports EWarning (early warning by light and voice alarm).

Face capture technology
Trained by deep learning, a face model can be built up using the algorithms of the Turbo AI series cameras, which are able to distinguish human faces from every other type of motion activity and single out the important ones, storing them as pictures. It is able to do other relevant analysis, such as face comparison, structural analysis and data processing.

Helmet detection technology
Trained by deep learning, a helmet model could be built up using the algorithms of the Turbo AI series cameras, which are able to distinguish humans without helmets from every other type of motion activity and single out the ones without, triggering an alarm event.

Person and vehicle classification technology
Trained by deep learning, the algorithms of the Turbo AI series cameras can distinguish between person and vehicle, which allows configuration of alarms triggered by people or vehicles.

Auto-tracking technology
Based on person and vehicle classification technology, some PTZ cameras support auto-tracking of specific objects (people or vehicles).

EWarning
Based on Tiandy's outstanding image quality and AI analysis, the cameras can filter out false alarms and delay unauthorized access attempts. Equipped with white light and speaker, light and voice alarms can be triggered to push warnings and slow the progress of harmful events to allow an effective security response to be activated, expelling of suspicious people or cars will avoid damage in advance.
