Why do today's security cameras not only pursue clarity, but also care about the colors of the night?

Why do today's security cameras not only pursue clarity, but also care about the colors of the night?
Equipped with super large apertures and large sensor sizes, Tiandy Color Maker cameras are able to capture details in low-light conditions. The Color Maker cameras guarantee colorful images whenever you want, with warm supplemental lighting for extremely dark scenarios.
Obtaining more realistic night scenes, avoiding fast-moving tails in the dark, avoiding dazzling white light, and helping people to obtain more data for safety and structural analysis are just some of the reasons why low-light color cameras are becoming more and more popular.

Equipped with super large apertures and large sensor sizes, Tiandy Color Maker cameras are able to capture details in low-light conditions. As the market has responded positively to the Color Maker cameras ever since their launch, Tiandy is preparing to launch a series of economical mini warm light products in the near future.

Large aperture lenses

Lenses have a limit on how large or small their aperture can open to. For users, it's important to consider the maximum aperture as it is a clear indicator of the amount of light that can travel through the lens. The larger the aperture, the more light passes through to the sensor. Tiandy's Color Maker series cameras are equipped with super large apertures (up to F1.0), which tremendously improves image exposure.

Large sensor size

The size of the sensor determines how much light it uses to create an image. In very simple terms, images consist of millions of light-sensitive spots which are used to record information about what is being seen through the lens. Therefore a bigger sensor can gain more information than a smaller one and produce better images. Color Maker series cameras support ultra-large sensor sizes, up to 1/1.8’’, which ensures better image quality.

Warm supplemental lighting

Infrared supplemental lighting could ensure the capture of images in low-light conditions or without light. However, if we want to get a colorful image, infrared won’t be enough. We have to choose white light for supplemental lighting, of which warm light is currently the best choice in the video surveillance industry. Color Maker series cameras use warm light for supplemental lighting, which is the reason why these cameras can get high-quality color images even without light.

Indoor/outdoor application scenarios

For indoor areas, Color Maker series cameras can be widely used in scenarios where indoor light conditions are not ideal and there is a risk of crimes. Moreover, it can provide color images even in low-light conditions. Not only can the cameras capture vital details in the video recording, but also ensure that the video analytics algorithms work effectively.

For outdoor applications, Color Maker series cameras can be widely used in outdoor scenes where supplementary lighting is lacking and there are security risks. Moreover, it can provide color images even in low light conditions. Not only can the cameras capture vital details in the video recording, but also ensure that the video analytics algorithms work effectively.
