In the security industry, the access control segment has not grown as fast as video surveillance mainly because most customers have, for long, been contend with proximity cards. The efficiency of biometric solutions, which allowed customers to do away with the hassles of a card, prompted some people to move to fingerprint readers.

But now, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many security customers to think beyond biometric fingerprint systems to facial recognition systems. Here, we present a list of top facial recognition-based access control systems based on inquiries to our site, in alphabetical order.

1. Anviz Facepass 7

The Facepass 7 from Anviz Global uses the BioNANO core algorithm and infrared technology. It supports Relay Output, Wiegand26/34 Input, and output, magnetic, etc., allows remote operation of doors through the network and supports U disk, user information record backup, and firmware upgrade.

Key features

  1. Supports face, card, password-based identification modes
  2. User-defined function keys to switch attendance state
  3. Security incident monitoring and alarm

2. CrucialTrak BACS Quattro Touchless Multi-Biometric Reader

CrucialTrak BACS Quattro is perhaps one of the few solutions that offer almost all kinds of popular biometric identification systems besides providing an additional option of an external RFID. At the application level, this solution supports emotion, gender, and age detection.

Key features

  1. Motion Tracking Analysis
  2. Simultaneous Touchless Fingerprint and Palm Vein Recognition
