DW adds experienced Director of Strategic Accounts
With the Asian security and VMS market is set to expand at a quick pace in the coming years, Milestone Systems is going all out to continue its leading role in the region with a slew of technology and partnership offerings.
DW Complete Surveillance Solutions, the provider in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management software, announces the appointment of security industry veteran James Somerville to the position of Director — Strategic Accounts.

In his new role, Mr. Somerville will develop corporate-level relationships with national and regional system integrators, and in turn, drive sales through their local offices.

“The hiring of Jim corresponds with the DW business growth strategy of bringing in people with solid experience and expertise,” said Steve Adamczak, Vice President of Sales — North America, DW. “The fact that Jim is smart, determined and devoted to his work, combined with his excellent record in leading strategic account initiatives, makes him a great fit for our team.”

Mr. Somerville has spent more than 40 years in the security industry, including operations, manufacturing, distribution and sales. His previous employers include Honeywell Security Solutions, ADI, Anixter (TriEd), OpenEye and Dedicated Micros. He has been managing national accounts for more than 18 years.
