Secutech Vietnam focus to expand on more smart solutions
The leading trade fair in security, smart technology and fire safety in Vietnam to open its door with more total solutions in August.
Vietnam has always been an ever expanding country with development in various sectors that can be seen throughout major cities. With this expansion comes the demand for more and better security and fire safety solutions. Based on a report from Statista, the revenue in the security segment in Vietnam will hit USD 10 million in 2018, with an annual growth rate of 56 percent in the next 4 years, resulting with a market volume of USD 61 million in 2022. In Vietnam, the skyrocketing demand from infrastructure, factory and smart city development is the key to the market performance.

The fast-growing building market in Vietnam generate some great business potential for security, automation and fire safety equipment. According to a recent report by Frost & Sullivan, the global H&B market (Home & Building) will reach to USD 1.19 billion by the end of 2018. In Asia Pacific, the surging investment in infrastructure is the factor that is driving the soaring demands for building management systems. Focusing to the local market in Vietnam, the soaring foreign direct investment and city development projects are the two factors to the market demand.

Secutech Vietnam to Meet the Demands

Secutech Vietnam 2018 will be held on 16th – 18th August at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, concurrent with Fire Safety Vietnam, SMAhome Vietnam, Electric & Automation and World Glasstech. This edition is set to be the largest scale it has ever been. The show has seen a 16 percent increase in booth number from 2017 with more 300 exhibitors from 19 countries. It will be expecting more than 12,500 professional visitors that will include systems integrators, distributors, factory, real estate, construction, hospitality and more. In 2018, not only will this leading security trade fair in Vietnam cover the latest security and fire products and technology, it will be expanding to more advanced solutions and applications.

Throughout the trade fair, attendees will be able to witness integrated solutions from well-known brands including HIKVISION, DAHUA, FLIR, HANWHA TECHWIN, SAMSUNG, CP PLUS, DYTRONIC, TAGATEC, BLUGUARD, ATEIS, SECOM, DUALI, K-SECU, UNION LIGHT, ZIEGLER, ARDOMUS, HOME SCENARIO, SMART Z, ORVIBO and SYNOLOGY just to name a few. Products showcasing will come in a variety that consists of video analytics, premises management, and home automation solutions and many more for all kinds of premises and infrastructure. New to the fair this year is Smart Building & Smart Home sector, gathering more exhibitors with total solutions and IoT innovations for both residence and commercial building. Fire & Safety Vietnam has recruited some of the leading fire equipment providers from both Vietnam and international companies such as FUNAYAMA, HATSUTA, HOCHIKI, KOLLING, IPCA, SFFECO, NAFCO, MASFLO, NITTAN, ADVANCED, CEASE FIRE, DEREKDUCK and DU PONT. Visitors are promised to find a full-range of fire safety and rescue product items, including fire alarm systems, smoke and gas detectors, personal protection equipment, fire extinguish facility, fire escape products, etc.

Four Must-See Pavilions at the Fair

To further increase the awareness for smart technologies and fire safety solutions, the trade fair will be featuring four different Pavilions.

  • Singapore Pavilion – lead by Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME), the pavilion will have the country’s expert bringing their advanced technology in total surveillance solutions, key management systems and network solutions. Companies to be present include SERVO DYNAMICS, COSELEC, KEDACOM, UBERGARD and LEAP NETWORKS.
  • Z-Wave Pavilion - international companies will showcase their top-notch Z-Wave solutions for home and building applications that can be served as connected home and hospitality purposes.
  • Korean Fire Institute (KFI) Pavilion - leading fire companies from Korea will be gathering at KFI Pavilion demonstrating the very best fire and safety solutions to the market.
  • UL Pavilion: suppliers from around the world will display high-quality ULcertified fire systems, products and solutions.

Gaining Useful Insights at the Seminars

Besides viewing the advanced products and systems on display, visitors will also be able to attend seminars that will be held 16th – 17th August. The first day of the show will see the return of Fire Rescue & Safety Seminar, featuring 4.0 Industrial Revolution and its Challenges for Fire and Rescue Service in Vietnam, highlighting solutions for factory, building and personal safety. On the second day, another fire safety seminar will be held for the visitors discussing Fire Protection and Anti-Fire Spread Solutions for Construction Projects in Vietnam.

New to this year, Smart Solution Vietnam will be set on the afternoon of the second day. Leading suppliers will be introducing the latest innovations and solutions for smart city, factory, building and traffic. Big-named brand such as BOSCH, SAMSUNG, ICP DAS, SEAGATE and KEDACOM will be presenting at each session on their view of smart solution. Following after the seminars will be a business networking party which aims to bring professionals altogether and encourage business partnership. Secutech Vietnam is not only a trade fair for the latest technologies and solutions, but also a platform for visitors and exhibitors to make meaningful business connections.
