JValley on what comes next after LENSEC acquisition

JValley on what comes next after LENSEC acquisition
LENSEC, a U.S.-based VMS vendor known for its flagship product Perspective VMS, was recently acquired by Jordan-based JValley Software Solutions. In an interview, JValley said that the two will now focus on furthering their global presence and expand the software’s integration capability.

After a recent string of acquisition deals in the security industry, another took place earlier this month: this time, LENSEC, a U.S.-based VMS vendor known for its flagship product Perspective VMS, was acquired by Jordan-based JValley Software Solutions, who said that the two will now focus on furthering their global presence and expanding the software’s integration capability.

The acquisition made sense, considering the two companies have had a long history of partnership. JValley, established in 2007, is a products-based software company whose engineers have worked on software code with the team at LENSEC for many years. The teams have been developing Perspective VMS into an enterprise-level video management software for application in the IP security video market.

Moreover, JValley has been Perspective VMS’s authorized distributor in the Middle East and North Africa region for the last five years and has acquired various references in the region, mainly with the government and military.

LENSEC, established in 1998, is a pioneer in IP video and has built a strong presence in the U.S. and around the world, with expertise in commercial properties, government agencies, healthcare, K-12 schools, higher education, airports, oil & gas, critical infrastructure and shipping ports.

According to Basheer F. Al Ghazawi, CEO of JValley, the synergy created through this merger will be significant. “This step will strengthen the relationship between LENSEC the manufacturer and JValley the distributor/development warehouse, which will aid in the continuous growth of both companies,” he said. “We will help in extending the global reach of Perspective VMS by having more presence across the globe and to let more partners/clients to know more about the VMS and its extensive rich and enterprise features.”

Perspective VMS, currently deployed in physical security projects in the United States, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, and India, targets the enterprise segment of the market, a solution that supports multi-site monitoring of live or recorded video. The browser-based software allows users to view essential information on any computer workstation.

From here on out, the combined company will work to enhance the software's integrative features to provider further value to its enterprise clients.

“We are going to work on having more IP security solutions, hardware and/or software, integrated with Perspective VMS, to position it more as enterprise security platform that allows end-users to work with different security systems on a unified platform,” Al Ghazawi said. "We are going to work very aggressive on marketing Perspective VMS globally by exhibiting at most of the international security shows and reaching to more media sources. Additionally, we are going to work on having very supportive channel partners globally, and they will have unlimited support from LENSEC and JValley.”
