Axis introduces three new models in its AXIS M10 Series of flexible cube cameras, optimized for easy installation, and ideal for small retail shops and offices.
Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, introduces three new additions to its AXIS M10 Series of compact cube cameras, raising the bar on performance and ease of use.
The three models – AXIS M1065-LW, AXIS M1065-L and AXIS M1045-LW Network Cameras – deliver outstanding video quality in HDTV 1080p resolution, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), infrared (IR) light for effective use day and night, and efficient connectivity via existing wireless or Ethernet networks. The low profile cameras are easy to install in corners or on walls with the included brackets, and offer 110° field of view – enough to cover a standard room or small store.

All cameras offer local storage via memory cards, eliminating the need to connect to a server to store data. Each camera also feature a high quality IR light that provides better illumination at night, and an IR cut filter for crisper colors in daytime.
The higher end models – AXIS M1065-LW and AXIS M1065-L – include a built-in microphone for recording audio, a speaker that can announce pre-recorded messages, and a PIR motion sensor that detects motion even in the dark and records only when required – thus saving storage capacity for true alarms.
Both AXIS M1045-LW and AXIS M1065-LW are wireless, allowing quick and easy connection to existing wireless networks and eliminating the need for extra hardware. AXIS M1065-L offers Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows both power and connection to the network via one single cable, simplifying installation and ensuring connectivity with high reliability.
5V DC powers the cameras and a power supply is included in the packaging with the wireless products. All models are easy to install thanks to the included combined wall and corner bracket, and are equipped with a standard ¼" screw thread that makes it possible to mount it with any optional stand.
AXIS M1065-LW, AXIS M1065-L and AXIS M1045-LW are planned to be available in August 2016 through Axis’ distribution channels.
