Secutech unveils next-generation devices serving more than just safety needs
Secutech, the annual preeminent exhibition for the international security industry, is gearing up for its 19th edition to be held from 19 – 21 April 2016 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan. The fair is committed to staying at the forefront of the global industry, offering a complete spectrum of the latest products and solutions in addition to a wide range of informative forums and seminars.

The fair is committed to staying at the forefront of the global industry, offering a complete spectrum of the latest products and solutions in addition to a wide range of informative forums and seminars.

Regarding the industry outlook, Ms Regina Tsai, Deputy General Manager for the show organiser, Messe Frankfurt New Era Media Business Ltd, expressed: “The security industry is experiencing transformation and welcoming a wave of innovation. It is moving beyond the traditional focus of surveillance cameras and alarm systems and bringing smart devices to everyone’s attention. To remain in step with the industry, the fair’s 2016 edition will present a full collection of components, products and solutions with cutting-edge technologies. Special focus will be on security solutions which make system management more intelligent.

New theme zones and pavilions extend opportunities for innovative solutions

Recognising the ongoing direction of the industry, Secutech 2016 is erecting new pavilions and theme zones to present products of the latest trends and add value to participants’ fair experiences. They include:

Intelligent Transportation Pavilion
Intelligent Transportation is one of the key elements in a smart city. Government ought to improve its infrastructure to create an accessible transport network for citizens. This pavilion will display Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) applications, traffic flow management, intelligent parking solutions, vehicle telematics and other integrated solutions for public and private vehicles.

Intelligent Industrial Zone
This dedicated zone features the latest industrial equipment and software that brings in intelligence to industrial security for higher efficiency and better management. It covers solutions for intelligent energy saving, auto management, safety measures and other integrated applications and systems.

Intelligent Retail Zone
This zone provides brick and mortar retailers solutions that work for more than just security purposes but also consumer behavior analysis. A demo store will be set up to display Electronic article surveillance (EAS) & anti-theft systems, customer behavioral analysis, POS systems and touch panels.

Alongside these aforementioned product zones, a series of complimentary conferences will be held at each zone, featuring esteemed industry players to cover the industry’s hottest topics, such as big data, cloud computing systems and their applications. Attendees will be able to acquire market updates and exchange ideas with industry experts at the events.
