AC2000 Lite comprises a full complement of applications, providing a fully integrated solution to multiple security and operational challenges. For example, the powerful AC2000 Alarm Event Display (AED) application provides a visual and textual representation of all system alarms and events, allowing system administrators to monitor conditions on site via advanced graphical maps. Not only does AC2000 AED provide the status of secure doors throughout the system; the application can also provide a platform from which to monitor integrated 3rd party systems such as video or intruder solutions.
AC2000 Lite is available as a server-based or virtual solution. The AC2000 Lite Software Only Virtual Kit eliminates the requirement for a dedicated AC2000 Lite system server, providing significant cost savings for smaller projects. The Virtual Kit also represents a quick and easy solution with automatic installation of the AC2000 Lite software.
AC2000 Lite is supported by CEM's industry-known hardware range. The range includes intelligent card readers, portable access control solutions, support for Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) and biometrics and much more.

AC2000 Lite in Action: Distribution Center 24, Belarus
Distribution Center 24 is a busy facility in Belarus with a steady flow of staff, vehicles and visitors throughout the premises each day. The facility comprises offices, car parks and warehouse areas with a variety of security requirements. As the business continues to prosper, the need for an advanced security on site has increased. This requirement for a flexible and streamlined access control solution has been met using CEM's AC2000 Lite. The system was installed by CEM Approved Reseller, Unibelus Ltd.
AC2000 Lite is based on CEM's core AC2000 product and tailored for small-to-medium sized installations. AC2000 Lite provides Distribution Center 24 with a host of powerful features normally reserved for larger installations, without hindering the flow of people and vehicles at the site.
Powerful Software
The installation at Distribution Center 24 utilises powerful software applications provided as standard in AC2000 Lite, such as AC2000 VIPPS (Visual Image and Pass Production Software) and AC2000 Visitor Management. AC2000 VIPPS provides security staff at Distribution Center 24 with the ability to create professional quality access control passes, featuring text, images, barcodes and more. The passes can be used for access control and can be colour coded for quick visual identification in restricted areas. Using AC2000 Visitor Management, staff can also control access for temporary card holders, recording information such as visitor details, reason for visit and time of appointment directly in AC2000.
Distribution Center 24 has deployed AC2000 Lite workstation software at each of the guard stations around the facility. These workstations provide guards at the facility with access to real time information about the AC2000 Lite system, allowing them to monitor system alarms and events as they happen.
Language Support
CEM's AC2000 product range, including AC200 Lite, is available in several language options including Polish, German, Russian, Italian, Arabic and Simplified Chinese. The Russian version of AC2000 Lite was installed at Distribution Center 24, making the system interfaces easy for local staff and visitors to negotiate.
Intelligent Hardware
In addition to providing industry leading software, CEM also provided Distribution Center 24 with intelligent hardware to secure a variety of access points. AC2000 Lite secures over 40 critical access points throughout the facility using CEM's eDCM 300 (Ethernet Door Control Module). The eDCM 300 features an internal database which allows it to provide full off-line card validation and decision making capability at the point of entry, even when communication with the host server is lost. At Distribution Center 24, the eDCM 300 is also used in conjunction with third party card readers to control car park barriers, staff turnstiles and electric door strikes throughout the facility.
