Cross Match Technologies, announced the creation of Cross Match Ventures, a business unit dedicated to the development and commercialization of emerging technological innovations in the biometric and identity management markets.
Cross Match Technologies, announced the creation of Cross Match Ventures, a business unit dedicated to the development and commercialization of emerging technological innovations in the biometric and identity management markets.
The new venture incubator will leverage Cross Match investments in technologies and solutions with those of strategic partners to address the emerging and developing needs around biometric identity management. By forming strategic partnerships and relationships to resource and foster rapid concept and application development, the new venture seeks to bring to market timely biometric identity management solutions that drive value beyond their initial business case.

Cross Match has appointed Glenn Hickok as president of the new business unit. Hickok was previously head of global sales at Cross Match, and will transition to his new role immediately. “Glenn's entrepreneurial spirit and deep industry knowledge makes him an obvious choice to drive this new endeavor,” said Buckley.
