The Bauer Group, an international construction and machinery manufacturing conglomerate with about 9,700 employees in 70 countries, deployed FingerTec access control and time attendance products at its new office in Singapore. A total of 14 time attendance and access control card readers were installed along with one simple card reader and two slave terminals.

The Germany-based company required a cost-efficient time attendance and access control solution for its new building. After taking into account the client's specific needs, Smartsys Solutions, a local FingerTec reseller, proposed a combination of products from the FingerTec Kadex series to suit Bauer's requirements.
The simple card reader is customized with lift controller integration while the two slave terminals were installed with card readers at the equipment store according to Bauer's requests. A centralized power distribution is implemented for all the readers, using a two 37AH SLA batteries power module. Similarly, a fire alarm control panel located in the guard house is also connected to all the doors.
With the successful completion of the time attendance and access control solution in Bauer's new office building, Smartsys hope this move will open up similar opportunities in the future.
