Video Alarm Verification Reporter
Pima's Video Alarm Verification Reporter (VVR) is an IP video server designed for the security market to be integrated with intruder control panels. The VVR helps verify and distinguish between a real alarm situation and a false one by sending a real-time video clip of the event via MMS messages to an FTP server (proprietary software from Pima) and then onward to a CMS or user's mobile phone. Pima's VVR has video inputs for four analog output cameras and one two-way audio and is connected to a network, LAN or Internet. Pima's VVR includes the option for storing video clips on local memory using an optional SD card. The VVR is fully bus-integrated with Pima's Hunter-Pro Series panels providing sophisticated alarm verification by using its serial communication. The VVR can operate as a client or as a server. In a client mode, the VVR captures video files to an FTP server to be forwarded to the user's mobile phon as an MMS message, or as an attachment to e-mail messages.
