L-1 Identity Solutions, a provider of identity solutions and services, was awarded a competitive contract by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate, Human Factors Division, to fund the development of next generation technology for use in mobile four-finger slap image capture devices. The L-1 technology is unique and proprietary to the company and will be used to develop new products with significantly reduced weight and size as compared to other mobile devices in the market today.
