Reveal Imaging Technologies, a developer of threat detection solutions, announced that it has signed a US$14.3 million contract with Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V. (OMA). Under terms of this agreement, Reveal will install its Explosives Detection Systems (EDS) in five of the country's airports as part of new in-line automated baggage screening systems.

This contract covers the turnkey installation of EDS equipment including any necessary infrastructure modifications. These in-line installations will provide complete EDS screening for all checked baggage using Reveal's proven TSA-certified screening technology.

"Reveal is pleased to work with OMA in safeguarding their passengers and streamlining the baggage check-in and inspection process," said Michael Ellenbogen, President and CEO, Reveal. "Governments around the world are striving to harmonize the security screening process. Once these systems are operational, these OMA airports will meet or exceed all DGAC, US and EU security requirements for automated checked baggage screening."

The installations under this contract are scheduled to be completed in 2010.
