StarDot cameras are integrated with the Genetec video management solution. The system provides management of digital video, audio and data across any IP network. StarDot's new line of dual-codec H.264 cameras, available in 1.3-, 3- and 5 megapixel resolutions, offers higher compression rates compared to M-JPEG encoding, decreasing the stress on network infrastructures, a critical aspect of multimegapixel camera deployments. StarDot is one of the few megapixel network camera manufacturers to support dual-codec multimegapixel (H.264/M-JPEG) video streaming with full time analog video output.
