Surveillance provider AD Group, the parent company of Dedicated Micros, appointed John Dolan as VP, Business Development, for its new AD Network Video enterprise video arm in the Americas. Surveillance provider AD Group, the parent company of Dedicated Micros, appointed John Dolan as VP, Business Development, for its new AD Network Video enterprise video arm in the Americas. Dolan has a strong surveillance pedigree built-up more than 25 years of system sales for the military, aerospace, transport and, most recently, fire sectors.

In his new role, Dolan will be working closely with John Bonsee, who was recently appointed as AD Network Video's Senior VP for Business Development and Sales, and other members of the fast growing AD Network Video team, including Frank Hulme as Sales Engineer. AD Network Video offers a one-stop resource for enterprise scale video surveillance projects where consultants, installers and end users are planning to integrate the latest surveillance technology from AD Group which includes Dedicated Micros server products. Moving ahead, Dolan and his colleagues at AD Network Video will also benefit from additional support provided by the Dedicated Micros office in Chantilly, Virginia, which now has an expanded AD Group focus.

Dolan's connection with AD Group goes back to 1997 when he started work at its Atlanta office. Since then, his specific areas of expertise have included the transport sector where he was tasked with promoting the mobile surveillance system, and overseeing its successful application in a number of large-scale school bus projects.

Dolan's long-standing responsibility for aviation sales, on behalf of AD Group subsidiary AD Aerospace, is set to continue in his new AD Network Video role as well as support for military and homeland security sales of specialist surveillance cameras from Innovative Sensor Developments. Recently, Dolan's responsibility was extended to sales of surveillance-based video smoke detection solution, from AD Group's D-Tec division in the region, experience which should prove invaluable given the wider system integration focus of his AD Network Video position.

Prior to working for AD Group, Dolan was employed at both Loral and Honeywell in various engineering and management positions. Dolan has a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Dominican College, a bachelor's in business from Eckard College and a master's in business administration from Goddard College.
