Held from April 21 to 23 in Taipei, CompoSec 2010 is a premier conference and exhibition that covers key components, ranging from chipsets and modules to subsystems and embedded software. Day 1: Opening and High Definition Surveillance Technology Seminar
On April 21, Bob Ferrar, Intel General Manager, will deliver the CompoSec opening speech. Ferrar will discuss video surveillance market trends and share tips on developing intelligent video surveillance solutions.
The High Definition Surveillance Technology Seminar will host manufacturing experts from Altera, Gennum, OmniVision, Seiko Precision and Vatics. This seminars examines HD, demonstrating the latest design concepts and technologies from image sensors, lenses to ISPs.
Day 2: Video Compression and Processing Technology Seminar
Next-generation technologies in ICs and semiconductors are the focus of this seminar on April 22, involving video codecs, SoCs, DSPs, ASICs and more. Jeremiah Golston, CTO of Video Surveillance and Video Conferencing from Texas Instruments will introduce cost-saving solutions while enhancing product performance and video quality. Technology experts from Grain Media, Microsoft, Stretch, Texas Instruments and UFINE will cover design concepts and hardware advances for video compression and processing solutions.
Day 3: Intelligent Security Management Seminar
This seminar targets future product developments in intelligence and integration on April 23. Guest speakers from ARM will discuss integrated video and audio solutions for remote monitoring. Senior managers from Hitachi and Western Digital will demonstrate creative applications for easier security management.
