Avigilon, a supplier of HD and megapixel video surveillance systems, announced the appointment of Hadi Rayess as Sales Director for the Middle East. Rayess will be responsible for meeting the growing market demand for Avigilon's HD surveillance solutions in the region.
Rayess joins Avigilon from i3DVR, a Canadian enterprise video surveillance provider, where he managed the Middle East and southeast U.S. territories for seven years. While at i3DVR, Rayess built the company's Middle Eastern business from the ground up and developed a distribution network across the region. Prior to i3DVR, Rayess was the sales manager for digital imaging solutions at Agfa Geavart in the Middle East. Rayess has a degree in electrical engineering from the Computer and Engineering College in Beirut, Lebanon.
"The HD surveillance market in the Middle East continues to grow at a rapid pace, along with the demand for the Avigilon HD Surveillance system," said Dave Tynan, VP of Global Sales and Marketing at Avigilon. "With 14 years of experience and strong industry connections, Hadi is well positioned to boost Avigilon's market presence and meet the needs of our growing customer base in the region."
Rayess will manage all sales activities pertaining to Middle Eastern markets. He will manage customer, integrator, and consultant relationships by providing technical expertise and onsite support. Rayess will provide end-user feedback to Avigilon to help implement product enhancements and new product releases.
"Avigilon delivers the industry's end-to-end surveillance system designed for HD performance, providing the image quality and management tools needed to make positive identifications," Rayess said. "I look forward to growing Avigilon's market presence and fulfilling customer needs across the Middle East."
