VIVOTEK Strengthens Security at Brazilian Residential Community

Security awareness is a priority for Brazil, the host country for the 2016Olympic Summer Games. Not simply the government, but ordinary citizens are emphasizing security in their home country. To this end, a residential community in Sao Paulo, Brazil, recently took advice from Alpha-Digi, VIVOTEK's Brazilian distributor, and decided to install a VIVOTEK IP surveillance system to protect its residents and property. To keep the project within budget and after a thorough survey, VIVOTEK's IP7330 and TC5330 network cameras were adopted. The cameras combine affordability with practicality, quality and attractive design.

For this project, VIVOTEK TC5330 cameras were installed inside each building at the lobby, elevator, stairway and underground parking lots. Environmental requirements were less demanding in these areas. The cameras provided easy-to-use functionality.

For the outdoor areas, frequent light changes and exposure to rain and dust were two concerns for camera selection. The weatherproof day/night IP7330 network cameras were selected for their specific design for such conditions. The integration of all components needed for outdoor surveillance into one unit make the IP7330 a camera with strong price performance.

The Sao Paulo condominium community consists of seven high occupancy buildings. Management and maintenance poses great challenges for the managers. Fortunately, with VIVOTEK's IP surveillance system, the managers can keep an eye on every building — inside and out — anytime, anywhere. This surveillance system has enabled the management to achieve the ultimate goal of providing a secure and comfortable living environment for residents in a way that is both efficient and cost-effective. “Using VIVOTEK's network cameras, we can monitor activities inside and outside of the building 24 hours a day, which saves us a great deal of time,” said the condo manager.
