Hikvision Digital Technology, a supplier of digital video surveillance products, announced the establishment of a Russian joint venture — ZAO Hikvision — in St. Petersburg. This is the second joint venture established by Hikvision, following Prama Hikvision in India, to strengthen its local touch.
ZAO Hikvision's GM, Anton Kurako, brings a wealth of security experience to the joint venture. A security expert who has spent more than seven years in surveillance, Anton was previously the director of security for Ultra Star. Combining Hikvision's excellent technical know-how with Anton's rich experience, this joint venture will undoubtedly deliver Hikvision's advanced products and solutions to a wider customer base, as well as to position itself a top-ranking player in the growing Russian security market.
The joint venture will enable Hikvision to sell its complete line of products and provide pre- and post-sales technical services in Russian market. These efforts will enhance product delivery, service efficiency and timely troubleshooting. ZAO Hikvision will extend Hikvision's service capability throughout the Russian region, offering comprehensive local services in Russian, including product catalogs, sales and technical support.
“I am greatly honored to be GM of ZAO Hikvision,” Kurako said. “As a professional supplier in video surveillance sector, Hikvision makes every effort to provide state-of-the-art products and solutions for worldwide customers. I am sure this joint venture will help local partners and customers to be more familiar with Hikvision's products, and obtain professional consultation and technical support in Russian.”
“We have been dedicated to overseas marketing cultivation for years,” said Polo Cai, VP of Hikvision, “And like our other branches in the U.S., Holland and joint venture in India, I believe that ZAO Hikvision will help us to better serve customers and more closely cooperate with local distributors and partners.”
