Integrated security and networked video surveillance products manufacturer, Synectic Systems Group, opened a regional office in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Established to act as a hub for Synectics operations in the Middle East, the Far East and South Africa, the new office will be offering the company's full range of industry-leading, best-of-breed electronic surveillance products. These include enterprise class digital recording systems, switching and control solutions and software, IP networked products, marine and ATEX certified hazardous area camera stations, and mobile/remote encoding systems, along with comprehensive security consulting services.

Synectics is committed to manufacturing products that allow the provision of flexible, open structure solutions for brand new and retrofit installations. This philosophy has played a major role in establishing Synectics' reputation as the security industry's foremost supplier of integrated video control system solutions.

Located in Dubai, the new office will be headed by Philip Longley, VP of Synectic Systems Group and one of the founders of Synectics in 1985. From the new hub, Longley will spearhead an expansion program to a growing customer base.

Synectics electronic surveillance technology is already securing many high-profile projects across the region, such as the famous Museum of Islamic Arts, Palm Island and the busy public space areas of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Commenting on the opening of the new United Arab Emirates regional office, Longley said: “Our mission at Synectics has always been to lead the field in the development of robust, reliable and high-performance switching, control and digital recording equipment for CCTV surveillance and process control markets, and has been the driving force behind our success. Our customers in the UAE region will now benefit from this newly opened regional hub. From system integrators, through to consultants and specifiers, with the provision of comprehensive local sales and support in the area, we are looking forward to welcoming new clients and further developing relationships with our existing long-term partners.”
