Harley-Davidson Europe Rides on SISYS Visitor Management

Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, one of the world's leading manufacturers of motorcycles, has installed the SISYS Visitor Express, electronic visitor management system for their new European Headquarters based in Oxford, U.K.

Since 1903, Harley-Davidson has produced the most enduring and recognizable motorcycles in the world. No other motorcycle has the look, the sound and the feel of these two-wheeled works of art. The motorcycle defines Harley-Davidson; no other motorcycle in the world provides the enjoyment or the experience of riding the Harley-Davidson motorcycle.   

The installation of the Visitor Express system has increased the perception of security while improving the corporate profile of Harley-Davidson Europe. Visitors to Harley- Davidson Europe now benefit from the most professional and streamlined electronic visitor management system in the world. Visitors are pre-booked via the integral expected visitor module, and identified with ease by the scanning of a business card, should the visitor not be expected, the business card details are used to continue an efficient, professional booking.

Sue Matarewicz from Harley-Davidson Europe, said, “We took the opportunity in moving to our new state of the art offices in Oxford to install some better and more effective security equipment. We have found that it is far more efficient and cheaper to run than the old manual signing-in system. SISYS listened to our needs and implemented a solution. The software will also offer us expansion opportunities for the future. We are also interested in the SISYS Intranet Visit Booking module allowing the host to prebook their own visitors and meeting rooms.”

A ceiling mounted PTZ camera allows image capture without the need of a visitor to move, allowing efficient production of a full color paper pass. All passes are personalized with the Harley-Davidson logo, visitor photograph, visitor name, company name, expiry date, identifying barcode and host details. This allows Harley-Davidson staff to identify visitors within the site while enhancing their company profile.

The use a barcode allows the visitor to be logged in/out for the duration of the visit, ensuring, and in the event of an emergency Visitors on site can be identified and linked with a host quickly and accurately.

The open plan auditorium displaying a selection of motorcycles ensures that a visitor will not forget the visit. Visitor Express also remembers the visitors with their photo, personal information and visit details stored for next time they visit, or an incident report is required.
