New CFO to Strengthen Milestone Performance Culture

Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software, has hired Kasper Boel Rousoe as CFO to bolster the focus on internal process optimization. He will ensure collaborations between HR and Finance, with the goal to build further on Milestone's market position.

Kasper Boel Rousoe has been employed as of June 1st as CFO at Milestone Systems headquarters in Denmark. Kasper has extensive international experience in the IT and finance industries, coming from recent positions as Finance Director & CFO for EMEA, Lenovo and CFO of Personal Computing Nordic Region at IBM.

"I am very pleased that for our newly established CFO position, we've been able to get Kasper Boel Rousoe to expand our management team with such a strong profile. He will focus on further optimization of our business foundation with his broad expertise in processes and procedures,” stated Lars Thinggaard, President & CEO of Milestone.

At Milestone Systems Rousoe will be accountable for the financial operations, in addition to the overall responsibility for the company's Human Resources group. Among other things, he will emphasize a focus on maximizing internal processes to further develop the already vigorous performance culture in Milestone Systems.

This puts new demands on the ways that staff work together to handle sales and service of customers in many countries while still harvesting all possible synergies. My responsibilities will be to ensure proper flow of information throughout the organization, connecting finance, the organization and processes so we all aspire towards shared goals to continue building on Milestone's healthy global market position,” said Kasper Boel Rousoe, new CFO of Milestone.

Rousoe's career has given him expertise in strategic as well as operational planning, implementing process improvements and focusing on cost efficiencies. He also has years of experience in streamlining strategic business plans. At Milestone Systems Rousoe will work towards even better collaborations between departments and facilities.
