(TAIPEI, Taiwan) — SecuTech Expo 2009 was the largest show in its 12-year history. The show had more than 700 exhibitors and increased net floor space by 7 percent to 15,000 square meters. It was held at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang for the first time, from April 22 to 24.
The show featured a range of themed pavilions, including CCTV/Digital Surveillance; Access Control/Biometrics; Intrusion Alarm; Integrated Solutions; China and Korea. Four new pavilions were added, including Key Components; Residential Security; Network & Communication and Security Services & Guarding. The pavilions allowed security professionals to identify mutual growth opportunities and develop a competitive edge.
Exhibitors at SecuTech Expo 2009 came from 20 countries worldwide. Their offerings were diverse, including surveillance, access control and alarm solutions.
Show Worth Traveling To
Attendance was expected to reach more than 22,700 visitors, who could choose from 90 different seminars and forums. SecuTech Expo 2009 included electronic security, information security and fire safety.
The show was international in scope, making it an added attraction.
