ZTE Grabs Exclusive WiMAX Contract in Mauritania

ZTE — a telecom device and network solution supplier — announced that it would cooperate with Chinguitel (a subsidiary of ETG) — a telecom operator in Mauritania. ZTE will assist Chinguitel in constructing the first 2.5-GHz mobile WiMAX business network. According to the agreement, ZTE will offer core network and wireless access equipment as well as indoor and outdoor communication terminals. As Mauritania is more than 1 million square kilometers large, a reliable, effective WiMAX network is required. After thorough evaluation, Chinguitel chose ZTE as its exclusive supplier of core network equipments. Chinguitel was highly appreciative of ZTE's advanced technology and professionalism.
