Fingerprint Dominates Biometric Applications

Fingerprint is the dominant biometric technology in use at businesses. Chinese vendors are taking advantage of research from the Chinese Academy of Sciences as well as Texas Instrument's industry-leading DSP and analog technology to launch fingerprint recognition devices for use in door locks, access control devices, safes, keyboards, USB drives and time attendance machines.
