Aronson Security Group (ASG) announces the acquisition of Selectron Inc., the largest independent security integrator in Oregon, and the launch of a new Converged Security Services division.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The combined companies form the largest independent security integrator in the Pacific Northwest. As a result of its joint footprint and national account programs, ASG will be able to extend its coverage for strategic clients throughout North America, says ASG CEO Phil Aronson.
¨ASG has always believed in a whole-system approach to security, and the acquisition of Selectron combines the resources from the two largest integrators in the region to meet the enterprise security demands of customers across the country,〃 he says. ¨We will now work together to advance a single vision for holistic, integrated physical and logical security.
ASG will establish Selectron as the Portland regional office. Selectron COO Robert Flynn will become the general manager for the office and report to Aronson.
¨The combination of the two companies will provide exponential value to our customers in terms of knowledge, processes, and geographic coverage that could not have occurred organically,〃 Flynn says.
The Converged Security Services division will provide assessment and consulting services around enterprise security, develop architecture around the physical and logical security plan that guides the purchase of products and services, among other functions.
