Senior appointment announced as latest IDIS AI video surveillance advances aim to drive value and performance
IDIS Europe has confirmed the appointment of Brian Lee as its new Managing Director, as it drives the wider adoption of AI video surveillance technology with a focus on system performance and value.
Lee was most recently Senior VP of Marketing & Sales Development for IDIS Americas, based in Dallas, and was instrumental in growing the North American and LATAM business. He previously held a headquarters position as Head of the Global Strategy Team for the company, South Korea’s largest in-country video technology manufacturer.
Now heading up the IDIS Europe operation, he will continue to build on IDIS’s success in the region with an expanded sales team, a new focus on marketing and public relations strategy, and further development of IDIS’s network of integration partners in the UK and mainland Europe
Lee says his appointment comes at a time of significant development for IDIS globally, including a series of recent video innovations powered by IDIS’s in-house developed next-generation deep learning engine, IDLA Pro. These include the Edge AI Plus cameras range, IDIS A-Cut/AI search, and Smart Privacy Masks, all designed to drive value and efficiency, making it easier for more users to benefit from AI video surveillance.

He added that the latest launches build on IDIS’s commitment to provide customers with video solutions that are increasingly affordable, reliable, and effective.
Lee also brings valuable experience to his new role from his background as a Director at LG Electronics and his master’s degree in business administration from Korea University, Seoul.
