ISC West opens Apr. 2, featuring latest in security, expanded education programs
The 2025 edition will feature a variety of products, solutions and programs allowing security professionals to see what’s the latest in the industry. This article takes a sneak peek at what to expect this year.
The leading trade event in security, ISC West 2025’s main exhibition will open April 2. The 2025 edition will feature a variety of products, solutions and programs allowing security professionals to see what’s the latest in the industry. This article takes a sneak peek at what to expect this year.

For years, ISC Wes has built a reputation as the leading trade show in the field of security. Each year the event draws crowds of security players to the show’s venue, the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. This year is no different as the main exhibition, held from Apr. 2 to 4, will feature over 700 exhibitors offering products and solutions encompassing video surveillance, access control, cybersecurity and others.

One thing new at this year’s show is the expanded SIA Education@ISC program, the prestigious seminar and conference series held on the sidelines of ISC West. In this year’s edition, the program is extended from the original duration of three days to four days – from Mar. 31 to Apr. 3 – in what event officials billed as the “most expansive SIA Education@ISC program to date.” Together, over 140 sessions will be held at this year’s show featuring 290 speakers who will share their views on a wide gamut of issues and topics that are hot in security now.

Keynotes

Each year, a main highlight of the show is the keynote series where industry leaders and experts speak on important topics in the security industry. This year ISC West again will feature a powerful lineup of keynote speakers. These include Rachel Wilson, Director of Cybersecurity at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management who will speak on Day One (April 2) on the fast-changing challenges in the digital threat landscape. Meanwhile, retail security is another key topic among retailers everywhere who constantly think about ways to reduce shrinkage and improve business intelligence. In this regard, Will Bernhjelm, VP of Security at Mall of America, will speak on Day 2, exploring unique challenges facing Minnesota-based Mall of America while showcasing the technologies and strategies they employ to maintain safety.

Exhibition

But it’s the exhibitors and their products and solutions that are the main attraction at ISC West. These products and solutions reflect the hottest major trends in security right now. Hanwha Vison, for example, will let visitors see their AI analytics in IP camera applications, enabling enhanced detection, search, data analysis, and imaging capabilities. Hanwha Vision will also showcase their new cloud-based capabilities giving security professionals a high level of flexibility managing their surveillance resources.

Speaking of cloud, OpenEye will demonstrate their intelligent cloud video technology known as OpenEye Web Services, which simplifies video deployment and delivers proactive insights that enhance security and increase the user's bottom line. Meanwhile, with active shooting incidents on the rise across US campuses and other facilities, Shooter Detection Systems will showcase their new SDS Perimeter Outdoor Gunshot Detection System and conduct demos highlighting both on-premises and cloud-based gunshot detection solutions.

Fringe events

Finally, several events will be held alongside the main show. These include the SIA New Products + Solutions (NPS) Awards, which honor products and solutions that reflect the evolution of the security industry and highlight the convergence between physical and cybersecurity. The AI Discovery Zone will feature the latest AI-powered solutions from such companies as Alcatraz AI and Axis Communications. Finally, the ISC West Concert will return, following last year’s success with the Wallflowers. This year’s event, featuring Gin Blossoms whose single “Follow You Down” became a Top 10 hit back in the 1990s, will take place on April 2 at 5 p.m.
