Intersec 2025, a global trade fair for security, safety, and fire protection, has begun at the Dubai World Trade Centre, showcasing new initiatives aimed at addressing emerging challenges in the sector.
Organizers Messe Frankfurt said the event introduces several new elements, including the first-ever Intersec Policing Conference, where more than 50 international experts will share insights on law enforcement and public safety.
“Intersec 2025 is a powerful demonstration of global collaboration, uniting participants from around the world to showcase the best in security, safety, and fire protection,” Grant Tuchten, Portfolio Director at Intersec organizer Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said in a statement. “This event serves as a unique platform combining innovation with expertise, driving progress and shaping the future of these essential industries. We look forward to welcoming industry leaders, innovators, and professionals as they connect, inspire, and create solutions for a safer tomorrow.”
The program also features the CISO Business Briefing, a dedicated forum for Chief Information Security Officers to discuss cybersecurity strategies and developments.
Another addition is the Intersec Startup Arena, organized in collaboration with Ignyte, offering startups an opportunity to present innovative solutions to investors and industry leaders.
This year’s edition, themed "Mapping the Future of Security, Safety, and Fire Protection," is expected to host 1,200 exhibitors from 61 countries and attract over 52,000 visitors from more than 140 nations, organizers said.
Last year’s event saw approximately 47,500 attendees from 141 countries.
Exhibitors are showcasing technologies and solutions across five key sectors: commercial and perimeter security, fire and rescue, safety and health, cybersecurity, and homeland security and policing.
The event also features 11 country pavilions, including those representing the UK, France, and Singapore, further emphasizing its role as a hub for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing in the global security industry.
