Luminite is pleased to announce a range of new features for their OCULi wireless PIR camera. OCULi HD is a battery powered, standalone wireless PIR detector with a built in 5MP camera. When used with our specially adapted solar kit, there are a range of new features available.
LIVE VIEW – you can switch to this option on the OCULi portal and real-time footage is available to view immediately.
LIVE OR PRE-RECORDED AUDIO – using our horn speaker kit, and again via the OCULi portal, you can either make a live audio voice challenge or, OCULi can sound an automatic alert when the PIR is triggered, particularly useful for restricted areas. Users can also utilize the built-in relay to activate other external devices such as turnstiles or sounder/beacons.
INTEGRATIONS – although the OCULi portal can be used to self-monitor sites, you can easily integrate OCULi to IMMIX and SENTINEL alarm receiving software platforms.
CINEMATIC RESOLUTION – users can now choose to view images in cinematic resolution as well as 5MP, HD and VGA. This new option provides wide screen 90 degree view in HD, cutting out the top and bottom sections which may be superfluous to the event.
Improvements have also been made to OCULi’s power saving functions and upload capabilities.
