System Surveyor is pleased to announce that co-founder and VP of growth, Maureen Carlson, will moderate an informative discussion on the first day of Global Security Exchange (GSX) in Orlando, FL, titled “How Schools and Universities Can Digitally Map Their Campus Security Technology for Better Safety.” The session will take place on Monday, Sept. 23 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (EST), in room S320EF.
The session will feature a discussion with Patrick Bucci, Security Systems Specialist at the University of Wisconsin. Bucci has extensive experience in both corporate and university security management and will offer attendees a unique perspective on how to use digital tools to do the job effectively. He and Carlson will discuss some of the lessons learned and best practices that can benefit campus security professionals.
The session will cover the following Learning Objectives:
- Describe the top challenges of designing and maintaining campus security systems.
- Apply strategies to drive cross-functional collaboration across stakeholders (security managers, administrators, public safety personnel and integrators).
- Implement best practices for using cloud-based platforms and mobile apps to simplify planning, design, budget, proposal and device maintenance management.
