Mobility, the leading business platform for intelligent transportation solutions, will be held currently with Secutech from 22 – 24 April at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center to accommodate the heightened demand for intelligence and advanced solutions in transportation development.

The rapid growth in urban population has accelerated the adoption of smart transportation as part of the smart city initiative across the globe to reduce traffic congestion, increase public safety and improve quality of living. As one of the essential elements to building a smart city, the intelligent transportation system marker size is expected to grow to US$57,195 million by 2022, at a CAGR of 8.7 percent, according to KBV research.
 
In light of this, Mobility will return to showcase the latest technologies and an extensive range of innovative products and solutions for four fastest-growing market sectors: smart road, smart railways, smart parking and smart logistics. Taiwanese vendors who play key roles in the transportation supply chain backed by strong ICT/ IT strengths, such as Charnghuei, Fuho, COP, Smartway, Skyeyes, Atrack and Konten Networks, etc., will be spotlighted along with other international brands.
 

Smart road

Cities worldwide are embracing IoT technologies to obtain real-time information that can be used to reduce traffic congestion and improve public transportation efficiency. Leading suppliers will come together to demonstrate a selection of IoT-enabled systems and solutions, from the smart traffic management platform, traffic control systems, video surveillance systems to communication systems, for enabling smart road development.
 

Smart railway

With Southeast Asia entering the railway infrastructure boom, the growth in the rail market will in turn increase the demand for video surveillance, sensors, power supply, gate and barriers, and wireless communication systems. Known for its strong ICT capabilities, Taiwan’s major suppliers of these in-demand products and systems will be on-site to network and explore the rising business opportunities with channel players, systems integrators, rail operators and other industry related professionals.
