KFI Pavilion debuts at Secutech Thailand for advanced fire safety solutions
KFI brings 10 South Korea-based fire safety companies to Secutech Thailand, held during 28 – 31 October 2019 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand. A wide range of high-tech fire safety solutions from the pavilion aims to provide better protection for various vertical markets in Thailand.
In 2018, the global market value of fire protection system was at USD 57.31 billion. This is expected to reach USD 98.85 billion with a CAGR of 8.1 percent between 2019 and 2025, according to Zion Market Research. Asia Pacific region is expected to have a growth in the fire protection system market in the future with increased demand in construction, government, healthcare, and automotive sectors.

Thailand is one of the major Southeast Asian countries which has a high demand for fire protection solutions. Sectors such as industrial industry, government facilities and data centers seek better fire protection. Many older infrastructures in Thailand may lack the necessary fire protection since some buildings were developed before fire safety regulations were implemented.

This year, several major fire accidents happened across Thailand. Chatuchak weekend market saw 200 shops damaged from fire which covered around 1,000 square meters. A rubber glove factory at Songkhla in the Rattaphum district was completely burnt down after a fire broke out. With severe fire related accidents and the need for upgrades creates a high demand for fire safety technologies.

KFI Pavilion setting an example for better fire safety

The Korea Fire Institute (KFI) is a well-established fire safety institution in South Korea, helping fire safety companies to receive proper certification and being the bridge connecting domestic fire safety companies to overseas markets.

KFI Pavilion will be exhibiting at the Secutech Thailand 2019 to answer the growing demand for fire safety technologies. Visitors can visit the pavilion and see some of the top fire safety and protection brands from the country including Dae Myung, Forttec, Global ENP, Intech, Jinwoosmc, Paratech, Rezontech, Shinjeong Development, Shinwoo Electronics, and Youngjin Flex.

The exhibitors at the KFI Pavilion will be bringing a wide range of fire safety protection products. The visitors will be expected to see a variety from flame detectors, sprinkler systems, and alarms systems to fire trucks, barometric dampers, and fire extinguishers.

Business matching sessions will be set up for visitors to have a 1-on-1 meeting with exhibitors from KFI Pavilion. The busy nature of trade fair environments can be difficult for visitors to engage with exhibitors. With the session, both parties will be able to develop better fire safety business connections.

Regina Tsai, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media commented, “Following Secutech Vietnam, we are more than happy to work with KFI again to bring the latest Fire Safety technologies to Thailand. It can be for municipal agencies, infrastructure facilities, factory production sites or various vertical market, visitors will be able to source the most up-to-date and suitable fire protection solutions at KFI Pavilion during Secutech Thailand.”
