The current Z-mTool supports Android
smartphones or tablets and requires an USB OTG port, and is compatible with Android 5.0 operating systems or higher. The Z-mTool supports devices with PowerLevel command class perfectly, and is compliant with the Z-Wave 500 series and other Z-Wave series.
For non-listening battery-powered
devices, the NHV check will be queued until the devices are triggered. Most modern non-listening devices can support sending wake-up command class with special mechanisms (such as pressing the inclusion button). The main feature of the Z-mTool is the support it offers to users for detecting the current Z-Wave network health by NHV signal enhancement. The NHV signal enhancement will inform end-users of possible network enhancements, like if a repeater needs to be added to the route.
