Good Way Technology's Z-mTool detects Z-Wave network health

Good Way Technology's Z-mTool detects Z-Wave network health
Z-mTool is the App, which inherits the spirit of the Z-Wave IMA tool that installers use to run on Android smartphones or tablets. The tool diagnoses the connection health of the Z-Wave network.
It is important for professional installers to be aware of a network’s health when providing an installation service for end-users. Therefore, there is a need to regularly check the diagnosis of the network, signal strength and connections between the network and devices. Good Way’s Z-mTool provides installers with the assistance they need in order to efficiently assess the strength of the network and their connections, while also saving time because installers don’t need to worry about running lengthy network health checks.

Good Way Technology's Z-mTool is the App, which inherits the spirit of the Z-Wave IMA tool that installers use to run on Android smartphones or tablets. The tool diagnoses the connection health of the Z-Wave network.

The current Z-mTool supports Android smartphones or tablets and requires an USB OTG port, and is compatible with Android 5.0 operating systems or higher. The Z-mTool supports devices with PowerLevel command class perfectly, and is compliant with the Z-Wave 500 series and other Z-Wave series.

For non-listening battery-powered devices, the NHV check will be queued until the devices are triggered. Most modern non-listening devices can support sending wake-up command class with special mechanisms (such as pressing the inclusion button). The main feature of the Z-mTool is the support it offers to users for detecting the current Z-Wave network health by NHV signal enhancement. The NHV signal enhancement will inform end-users of possible network enhancements, like if a repeater needs to be added to the route.

The Z-mTool is a great and easy tool used for resolving and diagnosing the Z-Wave network health for professional installers and system integrators.
