ASSA ABLOY supplied Lockwood door hardware to all new doors, that incorporated both high and low security access. The hardware installed is suitable for patrons and staff including disablity access.

ASSA ABLOY worked closely with Geoffrey Mould who was engaged by the project architects Nicholas Grimshaw & Daryl Jackson to prepare the Architectural Specification Packages and Architectural Door Schedules. Geoffrey, along with ASSA ABLOY representative Mark Gardner spent many weeks sorting through the enormous task of selecting the hardware that would be suitable for this high usage facility.

Geoffrey Mould says, security at the station is a primary consideration in the design process and the design team worked together with ASSA ABLOY to produce a comprehensive door schedule to satisfy the needs of the project.

Lockwood products were selected for their lifetime warranty, product quality and expertise in their field of manufacturing premium hardware in their factory in Oakleigh, Victoria.
